1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how WAPedia collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal and business data when you use our WhatsApp Business Cloud API management service and dashboard.

2. Data We Collect

To run the service, we collect the following data:

• User account information: Name, email address, encrypted password, business/tenant name, and contact details at registration.
• Meta WhatsApp integration: WABA ID, Phone Number ID, and official Meta OAuth access tokens obtained when you connect a number via Embedded Signup.
• Message & conversation data (Inbox): Inbound and outbound message history, media sent or received, and your customer contact details.
• Transaction & subscription data: Midtrans plan payment history, active subscription status, and platform fair-use usage.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Connecting your account to Meta’s official WhatsApp Cloud API infrastructure.
• Providing multi-agent inbox, template broadcast campaigns, and chatbot automation.
• Showing message delivery performance statistics on your analytics pages.
• Processing plan subscription payments via Midtrans.
• Improving system security and verifying compliance with Meta policies.

4. Security & Data Retention

Business data is protected with the following measures:

• Access token encryption: Meta OAuth access tokens are stored encrypted in our database.
• API security: Authentication is protected with JWT and encrypted API keys.
• Media cache limits: Media cached for the team inbox is deleted periodically per Meta rules (maximum 30 days).

5. Sharing with Third Parties

We will never sell, rent, or disclose your personal or business message data to third parties for their marketing. Your data is only securely forwarded to:

• Meta Platforms, Inc. to process sending and receiving your official WhatsApp messages.
• Midtrans (PT Midtrans) as the payment gateway for plan subscription checkout.
• Google Analytics (gtag / GA4) on the wapedia.id marketing site to measure page visits, only after you accept analytics cookies (not WhatsApp message contents or tenant dashboard data).
